RECRUITING SPECIALIST

MORryde is actively seeking a Recruiting Specialist to join our Employee Services (HR) Department. In this role you will be tasked with taking ownership of the manufacturing recruiting process from start to finish. You will take lead in advertising efforts with the goal of attracting top talent. From there you will sift applications, complete phone interviews, and assess where candidates might fit best. Then you will schedule onsite interviews with production leadership in hopes to turn those interviews into offers. Lastly, you will close the process by completing offers and initiating the new team members’ onboarding process.

This is a great opportunity where you will be able to learn all about manufacturing. You will recruit for a wide variety of roles, from entry level to highly skilled positions. Assembly, Welding, Maintenance, Machine Operating, Material Handlers, Truck Drivers – the types of roles to fill are vast, which means the opportunities to learn are the same.

To be successful you must have the ability to communicate effectively, be detail-oriented, work with a sense of urgency – having a competitive nature is a plus – and genuinely enjoy working with and for others.

What You’ll Do:

  • Researching and implementing ways to attract and retain qualified candidates

  • Reviewing and updating job advertisements across multiple platforms

  • Screening and interviewing of candidates for our production positions

  • Communicating and scheduling onsite interviews for hiring managers

  • Launching, tracking, and verifying electronic employee onboarding

  • Creating a candidate base to fill openings timely, when new positions become available

  • Creating positive experiences with potential as well as current MORryde Team Members

  • Coordinate and execute employee engagement events

In addition to recruiting efforts, you may also provide support and handle tasks relating to Onboarding, Employee Engagement, Safety, Training, Benefits, and other Human Resource functions. You’ll have the opportunity to learn our company from the ground up and gain experience in nearly every aspect of this essential MORryde Team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

  • Ability to quickly learn a variety of data systems

  • Exceptional computer proficiency, with thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Applications
