MORryde is always accepting applications for CDL driving positions. The candidates we seek must be responsible, reliable, and have a team player mentality. The ideal candidate will have a customer focused attitude that will ensure on time delivery and help to create Raving Fan customers. In addition, they must be mindful of and obey all traffic laws and procedures and operate in a safe manner at all times.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive, maneuver, and park 53’ van trailers safely, adhering to all traffic laws and DOT regulations.

  • Execute daily pre and post-trip inspections of the tractor and trailer (including tires, brakes, lights, and fluids) to ensure safety.

  • Load, unload, or supervise the loading of cargo; confirm secure loads and comply with safety regulations to avoid load shifts.

  • Strap and secure loads on a drop deck trailer.

  • Promptly report vehicle malfunctions, accidents, delays, or traffic violations to dispatch.

  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as fueling, cleaning, and replacing minor parts.

  • Exceptional Customer Service: Deliver goods, check delivery documents, and gather paperwork as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Current Class A CDL

  • Active Medical Certificate

  • Ability to Lift 30lbs (Minimum)

  • Ability to maneuver up and down from truck in a fast pace environment

  • Positive attitude

  • Superior attendance

  • Detail oriented

  • Ability to self-manage

  • Excellent communication skills
