Inside Sales Representative |
Opportunity Description
MOR/ryde is looking to add to our Inside Sales/Customer Service Team. This position will be charged with providing extreme customer service to our aftermarket distributors, dealers, and retail customers with the end goal of providing product information and sales support that will help sell the advantages of MOR/ryde products. A strong focus on outside sales support and customer service are keys to our success as a company and your success as an inside sales representative. This position can be an excellent first step towards a career path in sales.
Requirements
- Minimum education requirement is an Associates degree, though a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Possesses a high level of attention to detail in order to process orders, returns, and customer instructions correctly
- Must have the ability to understand the customer’s perspective, while handling a large volume of phone calls
- Great attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively without constant supervision
- Must be able to handle extended periods of time at their desk assisting in post-sales activities including parts and service inquiries and warranty
- Ability to analyze and solve problems is an integral part of this position.

Marketing Specialist |
Opportunity Description
In this position you will be able to take full ownership and pride by having creative control with marketing material including, but not limited to: brochures, point of purchase displays, ads, product brochures, product information guides, promotional material, sales tools, direct mail, fleet graphics, and web graphics from concept development through completion and distribution. You will be charged with assisting to schedule and coordinate product photo shoots along with creating material for training events and trade shows. You will also be able to express your creativity by helping to maintain and construct the elements to our company website.
Requirements
- 4 year degree preferred within a marketing related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience preferred
- Candidates should have the ability to work well with a diverse staff, work independently, and have a strong creative design skill while managing multiple projects from concept to completion
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential to this position
- Good computer skills are equally important, as well as attention to detail and the ability to be very organized and multi task in a fast paced environment
- The ideal candidate will have a customer focused attitude and work with a sense of urgency
- Must have proficient knowledge of Apple computer hardware and Adobe Creative Suite software: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with Dreamweaver helpful, but not required

Entry Level Administrative |

Join MOR/ryde’s Administration Development Program. This position will allow you to learn our business from the ground up and gain experience in many facets of our business. Previous employees who have found success in this position have come to us with a wide variety college majors and work experiences. We are looking for sharp, motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
Administrative Assistant this is not. While some of the functions of this job may be similar in nature to what an Administrative Assistant may carry out, the Administrative position involves a deeper level of problem solving and decision making.

Your initial training will allow you to plug into many different positions where business needs require extra effort. Responsibilities

With a strong grasp on these basics
- Utilizing CAD software to create production drawings (Inventor and AutoCAD)
- Learning and understanding production processes and equipment
- Learning and becoming fluent with our ERP system to create Bill of Materials (BOM) for quoting, production orders, and establishing job routines
- Process Improvement
- Cost analysis
- Interacting with customers to design new parts and solve problems
- New product design and development
- Sourcing, acquiring and implementing new equipment or facilities
- Supervision of production or engineering resources
- Improve both material and information flow within, as well as between, each of our three production facilities
- Continually improve manufacturing processes through waste reduction and innovation
- Serve as a technical resource to several departments, especially regarding product design reviews and capital investment initiatives
- Organize meetings to strengthen interdepartmental communication. Facilitate feedback between sales, engineering, scheduling, and production
- Investigate quality incidents with an emphasis on root cause analysis and corrective action
- Challenge, define, and support standard operating procedures in all departments
- Further develop training programs for production, engineering, and scheduling departments
- Provide training to production and engineering personnel
- Educate other departments on lean manufacturing principles and lean philosophies
Manufacturing Supervision / Management Opportunity |
MOR/ryde is currently accepting resumes for supervisors/managers to join our Team. Minimum education requirement is an Associates degree, though a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Experience in supervising employees in a fast paced manufacturing environment is helpful, though not a requirement. Experience or knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Welding supervision is also a plus.
The successful candidate will be someone who possesses a great attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team building, the ability to challenge and motivate team members and player development are all essential qualities of a successful manager. Identifying and developing leaders within the department is also a necessary skill for a successful manager. The ability to understand and apply numerical data is also important.
Besides the management and development of people, this position also requires involvement in process development, by understanding and applying Lean Manufacturing techniques. The manager will work with manufacturing and engineering to identify waste, and then implement and sustain waste eliminating solutions. Focus on product quality and customer service are keys to our success as a company and your success as a department manager.
